Mayor Julián Castro, along with the Mayor’s Fitness Council and the City of San Antonio Metropolitan Health District’s Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW), is proud to work together to promote the Healthy Schools Initiative. 

The 
Healthy Schools Initiative will focus on improving nutrition and physical activity in schools throughout San Antonio.  The Healthy Schools Initiative supports Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move initiative, the Healthier US Schools Challenge, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, and School Specialty.
